physical preparation must be progressive; you have to take in to
consideration the age and the health of beginners.Warming up is the first part of training, with running on spot while relaxing all muscles, extension jumps while breathing in deeply and then exhaling a maximum of air. This is a way of shaking the body and changing the air inside the whole body. Then, each muscle, articulation and ligament is warmed up, streched, reinforced by specific and varied exercices, and all the time working on breathing. A Võ-Sinh’s body must be able to react quickly, each part of the body can be transformed into a defensive or offensive weapon. In the beginning, the student who doesn’t know the appropriate fighting movements needs a long warming up process. But more advanced students only need several minutes to warm up, their body is formed while practicing the techniques.
To insure the external parts of the body, students work in pairs, striking the parts of the body that need to be reinforced. To strengthen the internal parts of the body, students fill their body will air and contract all their muscles (Noï Kong).
